We are Kavita. For 30 years, we have been working closely with vision and hearing care professionals and medical institutions to provide high quality products and medical equipment. Our experience allows us to offer our customers not only high quality optical and medical goods and equipment, but also a wide range of services. From the supply of high quality products such as contact lenses, spectacles and medical equipment from the most popular brands, to the production of spectacles using the latest technology, to logistical solutions, medical equipment maintenance, consulting and training – all in one place.

Our work is based on the same values that have sustained our growth for three decades. These values are shared by our employees, who believe in the company’s mission and vision – and whose actions reflect this every day. We care about our employees – we care about their safety, health and development, and we encourage team members to be active and creative.

Together, we regularly participate in various initiatives and sponsorships, international exhibitions, and in 2012, in order to pay tribute to the society, with the support of the EU, we founded the National Association of Opticians, which brings together opticians to promote their development and to jointly solve emerging problems.

History

Where others saw only spectacle frames, we saw possibilities. “Kavita started in 1994, trading specifically in spectacle frames. During the first decade of our operations, we consistently grew our product range and increased the trust of our partners and customers, including sales of spectacle lenses, ophthalmic equipment and medical supplies. In 1999, we started working internationally.

Between 2006 and 2010, we won the Gazelle Award for five consecutive years as one of the most successful and fastest growing companies in Lithuania. In 2010, we started producing our own spectacle frames, and two years later, spectacle lenses.

In 2012, Kavita established the National Association of Opticians, which aims to bring together optician companies and individuals working in the optical business to help create a competitive environment for the development of high quality optical products and accessories.

In 2016, Kavita implemented the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system in the field of wholesale, maintenance and repair services for medical equipment, tools, optical goods and accessories, and in the same year the warehouse management system Equinox was implemented. As of 2022, we are ISO 14001:2015 environmentally certified, with a commitment to purposefully reduce the environmental impact of our business.

Consultation

We are more than just salespeople – we provide our customers with professional advice and training, installing the equipment they buy and training the technicians to work with it.

E-commerce

We provide easy and convenient access to our products and modern wholesale.

Production

In addition to ordering individual components, we offer our customers the possibility to have them manufactured – we have the unique ability to use state-of-the-art eyewear manufacturing technology to produce the eyewear and ship the final product to the customer. Find out more
