The 15D BIO ophthalmic lens is designed for high-magnification posterior pole assessment in fundus examinations using the indirect ophthalmoscopy (BIO) method. It is suitable for detailed examination of the macula and optic nerve discs, where accurate assessment of central retinal structures is required.
The 36° static and 47° dynamic field of view allows a focused view of the central retinal area, making the ophthalmic lens suitable for targeted diagnosis of the posterior pole.
The 4.11× image magnification provides a clear and detailed view of the macula and optic disc, facilitating the assessment of glaucoma and macular degeneration in the clinic.
The 0.24× magnification of the laser spot provides more precise control of the laser spot, increasing the control and safety of the procedure using the ophthalmic lens.
The working distance of 72 mm provides a comfortable working distance between the lens and the patient’s eye, facilitating stable image focusing during indirect ophthalmoscopy.
The high magnification and double aspheric optics allow a clear view of the macula and optic disc structures even in the periphery, making the ophthalmic lens particularly suitable for glaucoma screening and monitoring of central retinal diseases.
