- “Lavanid wound gel is a sterile hydrogel containing preservatives with excellent tissue biocompatibility. They are suitable for direct application to the wound and for moistening, and can be used on dressings with preservatives. This reduces the risk of bacterial contamination of the wound and prevents the entry of bacteria from the environment.
- LAVANID® 1 and LAVANID® 2 are ringer’s solution based sterile isotonic wound cleansing solutions with 0,02 % or 0,04 % of the preservative polyhexanide. Polyhexanide prevents the growth of micro-organisms on the wound surface and in the solution.
