This reduces the risk of bacterial contamination of the wound and prevents the entry of bacteria from the environment. LAVANID® 1 and LAVANID® 2 are ringer’s solution based sterile isotonic wound cleansing solutions with 0,02 % or 0,04 % of the preservative polyhexanide.
